Last night we hosted what we hope is the first of many Wine 101 tasting events.Inspired by the enthusiasm from our past blind tastings, we created this experience to break wine tasting down to the fundamentals and explore how winemaking decisions shape what’s in your glass.Over six Ojai Vineyard wines, we discussed topics like how texture differs across white varietals, the impact of whole-cluster fermentation on Pinot Noir, and the role climate plays in shaping Syrah.Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a fun, interactive evening.
