By removing some of the fruit now, we’re helping the vines focus their energy on the remaining clusters, encouraging better flavor development, healthier vines, and improved airflow to reduce disease pressure.A little less fruit now means better grapes at harvest and ultimately, better wine.#organic #vineyard #hybrid

Meet Aligoté—Burgundy’s underrated white grape that’s finally getting the recognition it deserves. While it’s common in France, it’s incredibly rare in California, making this project especially exciting.When I discovered Aligoté planted at Yellow Foxtrot Vineyard back in 2023, I knew it was only a matter of time. In 2025, I finally got my hands on just 1.5 tons (only four barrels!) and made our very first Aligoté.Bright, mineral-driven, and coastal in character, this tiny-production wine is proof that sometimes the “other” grape deserves the spotlight. -Adam
