And just like that, all the fruit is in for the 2026 harvest! 🍇That doesn’t mean the work is over just yet, there are still plenty of tanks to pump over, dig-outs, barrel-downs, and fermentations to manage. But getting the last grapes through the cellar doors always feels like a milestone worth celebrating.We’re incredibly grateful for the crews who harvested in the wee hours of the morning and the truck drivers who got the fruit to us so promptly. Meet the team behind the wines of Harvest 2026. 🍇From left to right: Henry, Stephanie, Lucy, Adam & JP.These guys have been working tirelessly for the last six weeks, and are finally in the home stretch. 🥂 🍾 Henry — Harvest Intern Henry is Adam’s second son and over the last couple of years, he’s taken a real interest in winemaking and is learning the craft from the ground up. He loves finding interesting bottles at @pointdechene and @paradisepantrymarket and sharing them with the crew.Stephanie — Assistant Winemaker An Ojai local, Stephanie studied Enology at Fresno State and got her start with Adam as a harvest intern straight out of college. She spent the following years honing her craft in St. Helena, Oregon, Australia, and spent several years in New Zealand before returning home to Ojai to work alongside Adam full-time.Lucy — Harvest Intern Lucy is truly a woman of the world, having traveled through numerous countries WWOOFing, teaching farming, and serving in the Peace Corps. She’s also made wine in Oregon and New Zealand, where she worked a harvest with Steph and the two became instant friends.Adam — Owner & Winemaker The man, the myth, the legend and the one who inspires us all. Adam started The Ojai Vineyard with his wife, Helen, in 1983. More than four decades later, his curiosity and dedication to making quality wine is as strong as ever.JP — Harvest Intern Another Ojai local! JP’s time working in wine sales throughout California sparked his interest in the production side of the industry. After a couple of years working at a distillery on the East Coast, he returned home to Ojai to join us for his first wine harvest.Annie & Waylan — Winery Dogs Aka the real MVPs.
