During harvest, the best part of the day is lunch: food from the garden, homemade sourdough, and blind wines pulled from Adam’s cellar. In 2023, one grape kept stealing the show: Nero d’Avola from Sicily. Every mystery red we loved became “maybe it’s Nero d’Avola” as a running joke throughout harvest.A year later, we found the perfect site for it at Nolan Ranch. Now, we’re releasing our very first vintage of Nero d’Avola, inspired by the wines that stopped us in our tracks at the lunch table.
