2005 VIOGNIER ICE WINE

Each year we take the entire
production of the two acres planted to viognier at the Roll Ranch
and turn it into a couple hundred cases of this dessert wine.
By freezing the grapes and then pressing out only the sweetest
nectar, we literally extract the essence of this vineyard. The
2005 viognier follows the style of the last several ice wines
we've made; it is quite sweet (30% residual sugar), low in alcohol
(8%) and particularly delicious with fruit-based desserts.
