2004 ROSE
California
We keep changing the name
of this wine, but it is still a dry rosé that is barrel fermented
in older barrels and bottled fresh in early spring. We have been
tweaking the style a bit lately and have shortened the time the
juice spends with the red grape skins, and that has made it a
lighter and livelier wine. It continues to be a great match with
all sorts of spicy food and is for me the magic needed to transform
a lazy summertime lunch into a profound life-affirming experience!
